Code of Ethics

The NACP Platform expects its chair, members, and volunteers to act with integrity and honesty in the performance of their duties on the platform, in accordance with the core values of the Hizmet Movement, the moral norms of society, and the law. If there is a complaint that a member has violated any of these, the platform's complaint review guidelines will be followed.

Specific Issues:

Non-Abuse of Influence: It is the policy of our platform that the platform chair or those who participate in the platform in their administrative roles (paid or voluntary) should not use their influence arising from their administrative positions to their advantage in their dealings with members of the local community (including platform participants).

Commercial Activities: It is the policy of our platform that the platform chairperson or those who participate in the platform in their administrative roles should not engage in active commercial activities if they are able to earn a living (with the salary and personal rights provided by the institution they work for) at the standards stipulated by the national platform. If he/she has a previous active commercial activity, he/she should transform it into a passive business (one that he/she can carry out with very little overtime so as not to interfere with his/her administrative duties).

Transparency: The chairperson of the platform or those who participate in the platform in their administrative roles should not enter into a commercial relationship with members of the community in the region where they are located. If they come together in the same locality due to their or their partner's relocation, they should declare their passive commercial partnership to the platform.

- This policy was adopted at the NACP meeting on October 7-8, 2023.
